According to the Omaha poker rules, in hi ? lo split Omaha games, the pot is divided between high and low hand equally. Depends on the rule, the same cards can be used to form best Omaha high and low hand.
All the normal Omaha rules of each game are relevant excluding that a qualifier of 8-or-better for the Low hand applies unless an exact report to the contrary is done. This means that the best low hand can just include cards of the value below 9. Thus in Flop games, the Flop have to include three cards of the value of 8 or lower.
In order to succeed for the low partially of the pot, the low hand should be 8, 7, 6, 5, 4 or lower. That's why this game is named "8 or better", or just "Omaha 8".
Remarkable moment of Omaha High-Low rules is that straights and flushes do not calculate against you while succeeding for Low. As well you are allowable to apply dissimilar cards in your hand for the High side and dissimilar cards for the Low side or the similar cards for both the High and Low sides.
