Lowball poker is played in a way where the lowest hand wins the pot.  Every player is dealt five cards facing down.  After the cards are dealt there is a betting round. The players are allowed to open with a bet or a fold or even a raise or re-raise. The players that are still in the pot after the primary betting round can now count on improving their hand by making a draw and replacing their cards with new ones.
